New Short Game Facility

This is the start of an exciting renovation project that includes the installation of a 16,000-sq.-ft putting green and short game practice facility with multiple chipping areas that will further enhance the player development opportunities at our municipal gem course. Designed by renowned golf course architect Todd Quitno, the short game facility will be located adjacent to the first tee and clubhouse.

The renovation project started in late June and the short game facility will be open by Spring 2025. During the creation of the short game facility, the golf course will remain open.

The final shaping of the putting green has been taking place, adding contour to the green and getting ready for the prep work to plant seed.

Drainage for the green and surrounding area is being trenched and drainage pipes are being installed.

Preliminary work for the sprinkler system to water the green is being laid out and new satellite boxes have been installed.

Shaping on the new tee boxes for the first hole with making sure the grades are correct are being completed

The rain has slowed down some of the progress but work is moving along and we are still on the timeline for seeding the new green and sodding the surrounding areas in the beginning of August.

Putting green area is getting staged with a mix blend of dirt and sand for seeding.

Irrigation to the new putting green is getting installed.

Drainage has been installed around the green.

New tee boxes are getting laid out and finalized.
