Junior Golf Programs

Vernon Hills Golf Course offers a variety of junior programs designed to introduce kids to the game and help them develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our junior pathway is designed to meet kids at the right level and help them progress with purpose:

Little Linksters (Ages 3–5)

  • A fun, welcoming introduction to golf
  • Uses SNAG Golf equipmentwith age-appropriate games and drills
  • Builds coordination, balance, teamwork, and early confidence

Junior Linksters (Ages 6–8)

  • REAL CLUBS. REAL BALLS. REAL RESULTS.
  • Structured coaching focused on swing fundamentals and athletic movement
  • A team-based environment that keeps kids engaged and motivated

New Competitive Golfer (Ages 9–12)

  • For juniors ready to take their game to the course
  • Learn course strategy, scoring basics, and competitive mindset skills
  • Small groups with focused, coach-led instruction

All junior programs run in 4-week Saturday sessions at Vernon Hills, giving kids a clear plan and steady progress week to week.
